Jindavick Senepol Cattle S
Jindavick Senepol Cattle are located in the S.E Qld. We have been here breeding cattle for the last 40 years ! The Senepols love the hot summers but they aren’t too happy with the cold winters we get, luckily they don’t last very long. Having the slick coats makes cattle tick and buffalo fly treatment a breeze. Our cattle are renowned for their temperament and fertility, last year, which was a terribly dry year we achieved over 80% calving with all calvers calving in a two month period.

In October 2010 my husband, Hugh and I purchased Millawa Ranch in Mount Kilcoy, Queensland. Our previous property was a 10 acre block in Upper Coomera, within walking distance of Dream World, from there to our dream home in Mount Kilcoy valley.

Pinnacle Pocket stud, established in 2006 by Peter Spies, is the first registered Senepol stud established in the coastal tropics north of Rockhampton and only registered stud in Far North Queensland. Pinnacle Pocket breed fertile Senepol, Senepol composite and Senepol X Droughtmaster cattle well adapted to the conditions of tropical Australia.

Planchonella Hills Senepols was established in 2002 using embryos sourced from some of the top herds in the U.S. and semen also from the U.S. The word “Planchonella” refers to a rare tree, the Western Black Plum that is native to our area. We chose Senepols as a breed because of their heat tolerance, excellent carcase traits, temperament, fertility and ‘unrelatedness’ to 97% of cattle in Australia.
